Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Beware was formed in Travnik, B&H, in 1999. by 3 keen-to-metal guys of whom none remained in the band today (and neither any of the songs). Which makes the question ''Why the hell are you Beware then?'' rise up. But the answer is a simple one (two in fact) – it seems kinda appropriate to keep the memory of people who made the first metal band and thus brought one of certain urban airs into this chaotic, twilight zone-like town of ours. Also, throughout the years we have built something of importance to us on these few letters by which we are known. Sometime during 2000. Lika joined the band, and he remained the only physical connection with that ancient Beware today. In 2001. Lika left the band which soon led to a collapse, and a pause which lasted till December of 2003. when bros Majk and Boro (of former hardcore band Menticide) joined the band, and Lika, seeing that something was going on wished to join again. That's when some real work began. Everything went well until Brdar – the bedrock of all former Bewares – left the band a month or so before the first B&H tour (good timing). Fey (former Wan-Dahll guitarist) took his place, and the Beware/GoodFellas (Leipzig – Germany) August 2005 tour turned out pretty cool (much better that the January 2006 tour that followed). During that time the very first promo cd came out and, frankly, it sounds nothing like what's going on today. The tour ended in brutal conquest of Music Fest Live 2005., where Beware was proclaimed the best band of the festival (big deal). Since then we strove to shake the boundaries of ''the four'' as I like to call the straight rhythmic patterns, which led to a total frenzy. In 2006. we launched the second demo which actually sounds nice, and right now the third (and hopefully the last) is in preparation. It should come out any time now. I can't wait because I feel we've almost matured in a sense that ''songs'' aren't packed up in a standard manner any longer. The four is almost dead.
