As faith would have it, after numerous night of music, 2010 was the year that would bring together a group of music-thirsty people drenched in silence. On a bright January night in snow-covered Slovenia, these music enthusiasts rallied, for the land was in need of indie rhythms. Under various musical influences, they quickly got their teeth into pens, drumsticks, microphones and, last but not least, strings. Original indie rock sounds echoed through the shelter, bathrooms and kitchens, giving rise to Die Hamster. Part old music veterans, part young music adolescents, they make indie rock music you can dance to. Some had performed on 5, while others more than 200 stages. True to faith's wishes, there is no lack of experience with studio recording. Members hail from Krmelj and Rogaška Slatina, creating music in Ljubljana. Musical tastes vary greatly and include almost every genre there is. This is made good use of when creating original songs. Popi's pub in Ljubljana hosted their debut show, followed by performances at the Rock'n'Moste festival and Coffee shop in Rogaška Slatina, where they opened for Res Nullius. They also played on many band battles events in Slovenia, organized by festivals such as Rock Otočec, Škisova tržnica and Šourock, where they tested themselfs for the big stages and regulary finished in final selections.
