DJ Irie Scratch, Sure Shotz Entertainment. DJ Irie Scratch is one of the youngest professional DJs in Macedonia and on the Balkans. He is a member of the most influential promotional agency in the country, Sure Shotz Entertainment, alongside his fellow DJs – DJ Shorty P aka Pancho and DJ One aka Davor. He started deejaying only 16 years old, on friends’ home parties. Soon, he starts spinning hip-hop, rnb, dance and dancehall music professionally and gets his nickname Irie Scratch. In the beginning of 2010, he signs with Sure Shotz Entertainment and immediately becomes resident DJ in the biggest and the most popular club in Macedonia – Club Colosseum. During 2010, DJ Irie Scratch plays in almost all clubs in Skopje (such as: Paradiso, Havana, Midnight, Kapan An, Castro…), and he is a part of big and remarkable festivals like Café Del Skopje vol.3, Sound Shift vol.1 and vol.2 and others. He has already performed in Albania (Club Lollipop – Tirana), Kosovo (Blla Pub – Ferizaj), and in many Macedonian cities (Tetovo, Gostivar, Stip, Struga and others). In 2011, he was a part of the Greatest Hits vol.7 festival, sharing the stage with the hottest Macedonian DJs. He is still resident in Club Colosseum with DJ One. DJ Irie Scratch is an official DJ of the young hip-hop sensation Prizemje Ekipa, and he has also performed with the most popular hip-hop and rnb band in the country – DNK. In January, 2011, his first official mixtape, named On Some New Shit vol.1 came out, getting a big internet buzz. During the summer 2011 DJ Irie Scratch was a resident in Coo Club in Ios, one of the most famous party islands in Greece. DJ Irie Scratch is also a blogger. He writes the blog sureshotz-mk.com/blog, willing to promote the hip-hop music and culture in the region.
