Bounding out of Connah’s Quay in North Wales is highly talented dance/rock duo 'I Am Austin' Otherwise known as duo David Mitchell and Adam Hughes, I Am Austin blend an infectious mix of alternative drum & bass electro wizardry to create a mind-bending ear piercing sonic musical soundscape. Having released their highly acclaimed first EP 'Sounds Like Leather' in 2008, I Am Austin have just returned from the studio recording their new EP for 2010. With a ferociously growing fanbase, I Am Austin have played venues in military style across Manchester, Leeds, Bangor, Hereford, Cardiff and Birmingham. The band have also blasted festivals across Europe this summer with gigs at the Dockville Festival in Hamburg & the C/O POP festival in Cologne. I Am Austin are listed in the new edition of Festival Guide as one of the top 10 bands to look out for in 2010.
