Biography
Formed in 2008, the band has become a regular attraction at a few of Budapest’s hotspots. Their first forays into a studio were a 6-song demo recorded at the Artist Factory, a professional studio in Budapest popular among Hungarian musicians. Recently discovered by the world-renowned artist Lord Bishop, the band supported Lord Bishop Rocks in both the Hungarian cities of Debrecen and Budapest in December of 2009. A record deal followed shortly thereafter. The band was signed to Dirty Earth Records and recorded their first album at LSD studios in Dresden Germany in March of 2010. The debut Audio Love Nation album 101 was released in August and is available in selected stores in Budapest and at all live shows. You can listen to 4 songs on the band’s Myspace page. In the spring of 2010 the band embarked on a tour to support Lord Bishop Rocks that spanned Germany, Hungary and Czech Republic. During the summer the band was invited back to play at The Rosis in Dresden, Germany. Recently the band played The Insane Rock festival in Warsop England, playing both an acoustic set and a regular set. With no sign of letting up, Audio Love Nation has show dates set up for the rest of this year.
Always on the road, check them out as soon as they pop by your town, because seeing is believing, and for anybody true to the art form known as rock Audio Love Nation is not to be missed. As the band’s motto states, “anything but rockin’ is a simple waste of time!”
