Biography
Poke is a 19 year old DJ and producer hailing from Germany and currently living in Romania. Since its emergence as a genre, Poke has been intrigued by the hard basslines, smooth wobbles and cruncy synths of dubstep. Around the same time that he starts doing online mixes, the independent music label Quad Damage Recordings is born, including Poke as one of the first few DJ's. After a couple gigs in small local venues, late 2009 finds him with his own first production finished. Poke then proceeded to improve his skills in Quad Damage while promoting the underground artists consisting it. The end of 2011 officially marks his debut with the free release of 'Misconceptions EP', as a movement to support the quality underground scene. 2012 is looking good in Poke's eyes, with plans for a new EP and expanding the reach of his repertoire as wide as possible.
